Though your poem personifies a flower's request for physical rain, to me it could also be a person asking for spiritual rain. Truly a multilayered meaning. Thank you for sharing it.

AAAWWW you gave this little one a voice and it is very well done. Reminds me of the days I feel a little stupid when I water my plants and purposely look for the ones that need the extra kind word .
