Once again, the cost of freedom is taking a high toll. So many innocent people are being killed. It is a great tragedy. It is getting harder to listen to the news and hear about things that are getting even worse. Thank you for bringing added attention to this terrible situation.

Spangle, thank you, I do want to keep a face on this not statistics - the plight of these families and especially the children whose psyches are forever tainted are all children of God in harms way. so very sad indeed!

Your thoughts are absolutely true. The children surviving such a situation will have its dark details in their minds for their whole life. PTSD will be much too prevalent in days to come. I used to run a program assisting the homeless and their personal life events are a big factor in their present and future existence. This is a crucial time for all humanity.

I have such utter respect for them to resist this tyrant and cleave unto the cloak of God and pray for his judgement day to come sooner to Putin than later.

While they are outnumbered and likely to lose, the Ukrainians have shown the world that democracy is worth fighting for. In their resistance, they have shown Putin that they are not easily defeated.

Mary thank you! I can not help but put a face to this travesty - these people, I believe, only want what Gods ideal purpose for all mankind is and that is to live in Peace and Love and give service back to their neighbors in kind.

yes, sadly I tend to agree with you, Putin has put himself in corner and is embarrassed things has not gone as he had planned.

Yes, this is great. Those people live in pure hell. This is so wrong. These people cannot feel safe on the street or house. They are no different than slaves or prisoners of war. He is no different from Hitler. What a shame.

Carolyn, sadly, this is so! Tyrants seem to repeat historically and the world always suffers at the hands of foolishness greed and power.
