The trip back to NYC is an interesting development. I'm keen to see what will happen when Ali goes back. She must feel like she's obligated because of the family business. Her clients might also be wondering why she hasn't been doing any work for them. There's a hint her ex-fiance might be there. I'm surprised that Cord doesn't decide to go along, as he can't seem to let her do anything on her own. The trip should be a turning point for Ali and help her decide what she wants to do going forward. Excellent story development. judi

I love the direction the story is going in. No need to rush anything, the current pace seems to be just right. I do believe that Cord and Ali will be a wonderful couple when the time arrives for them to get together. Again, there is no need to rush, despite what some readers might think or say.

I like the true-to-life dialogue and the plain and simple style you've used in this Barbara. Cordero and Alexandra are slowly learning more about each other, and they seem a good fit. I half expected she might invite him to go home with her for the anniversary party. :)
