Your synopsis is intriging. Anna has a lot to overcome, but so does Troy. Can they make it work and heal each other? That is the question that will keep readers going to the end to find the answer.

I promise you that I will find this book, purchase it and read it. At age 13, I, a skinny boy threatened to end my muscular step father for his abuse of my mother. He sneered at me and asked what could I do to him? I confidently told him that, he had to go to sleep sometime. He gave me a look that confirmed that he believed me. He left our house that day and did not return.

I am sure this book is very good. I will check it out. Any kind of abuse is so dramatic. When it is at the hands of someone you know, the feeling is tragic, very stressful.
