Long doesn't bother me a bit. This was interesting. I didn't expect this much explanation, are you cooking up some more trouble dear? I can hear the wheels turning over here! hahaha Good work sweetie. Karen

Wow. This chapter packed a wallop of information. Suddenly Emma has quite a bit on her plate. A lot for someone who doesn't show the strength to handle it. This will help her grow up and mature.
Good chapter, Barbara.

Amazing with having characters with the same name as some of my grandchildren. I named my granddaughter when she was born after Abigale Adams. We call her Abby. Her brother is named Jake after my grandfather. My other grandson is named Mica after the Bible name. We seemed to be having something in common with our characters. Good one. Barb.

Thank you for the kind review. I'm writing a novel right now about an Abigail.
-
Great! My Abby is twenty now and I look for her to marry soon. I remember the moment she entered the world. My, how time flies.
-
Time does fly. Not sure how it does that.

Concerning the quote: I loved my wife. She agreed to marry me early on, but I had to earn her respect. Treating her like an object was never in my thoughts. She was my gift from The Lord.
I wish I had the discipline to write a fine novel like you. Maybe someday. Am looking forward to the next chapter.

You have a story that is very exciting here but also a little weary. I will have to do some catch-up reading. How do the chapters work as you have two parts on each posting? This is chapter 41, but you titled it 26 B.

FanStory has labeled this chapter 41 because when I post it's normally two posts per chapter. When I put the novel together, there will only be one chapter 26. I can't post 4000 words on FanStory, well, I could but nobody would read it. Everybody wants the fast money. I hope this helps. Thank you for the kind review.

Oh well done here, Patricia, this has brought a lot of strands together! No wonder Emma is so freaked about Casey with all that evidence of him stalking her, regardless of the fact he is now dead. A nice touch with the sister's arrival, contrasting the trauma that Emma was about to be put through. There's one issue that confused me a bit and seemed as if something had been missed out: "After she answered and then hung up her phone.." (there was no indication previously of the phone ringing). But this is excellently done and an enjoyable read. Thank you, Patricia. Debbie

I did wrote it that way because I assumed the reader would know if a person answered a phone it was ringing. I was trying to conserve words. LOL Maybe I'll change it, if anybody else questions it. Thank you for the kind review.

Another fine chapter Barbara and Emma is quick to judge, but she will hopefully mature over time. I glad to read about the progression in the relationship and you packed a lot of action into this chapter, love Dolly x

It's so nice to read about Seth and Emma relationship progression. They seem to be getting very close. The twist of the photos and Mickey Casey inside Emma's home is unsettling. It's good to hear that Seth sister moved closer to him. She sounds very good.
You know I love the story. Well done.

Wow! What an absolutely dramatic chapter. And so much has been revealed of the late Casy. What an absolute criminal he was. Got his desserts in the end. A great bit of work, thanks, again! I bet this took you a while to sort out.

As it moves forwards, this novel is turning out to be extremely rich, with well-developed structure. The action is particularly lively, and holds the reader's attention. kay
