Seth's experience is totally different from mine. I am the baby brother. My sisters needed financial help from time to time and I was happy to be able to provide it. I never dared to interfere with their private lives, and I believe that their husbands appreciated it. I am thrilled that Emma and Chet are finally officially dating and opposition to it should finally be over.

It is good Seth is finally sharing something about his earlier life. Emma has a surprisingly healthy attitude about having to kill someone. He was not a soft-eyed furry animal. And they both have accepted the idea they are dating, it just doesn't seem that way because they are always together for practical reasons. Emma is.bothered by shooting and killing a man, but self Defense is OK, it still troubles me that shooting is commonplace. Well done, blessings Roy

There is an easier feel between Seth and Emma now that their dating has been acknowledged. They seem very much on equal terms. Your excellent chapter focuses on detail now, not least Emma's conscience about killing a man, no matter what the provocation. I get a bit confused by your italic thoughts. Are these Seth's thoughts? For me, they don't really work to advance the story. Also, a small edit: Just (an) idea. At least she doesn't have to be on the pillow anymore. But another engaging read.
