I love your female characters, they are feisty, independent, and speak their, which isn't always a good thing, but Sami is no different, she can't be dominated, which is the way it should be. The males are still manly, but are respectful to people as it should be, but your women still want their men to be men, but yet can be tender and respectful in love, beautifully written Barbara, blessings Roy

Sami can certainly tell the chief how it is where he is concerned. I can't believe he, a section boss, accused Sami of trying to bewitch him with her eyes. Baldwin does seem to be jealous of Noah, but probably more because of his professionalism and ability to make decisions.

I feel he is jealous of Noah. Thank you for the kind review.

Noah probably makes him feel inadequate, not that Noah means to do so.

Very nicely written script. I like how it is easy to the ears as I have listened to it twice now. Your punctuation is on point. This topic is very sensitive to me as well and I'm so grateful that you have shared your heart with all of us.

Oh Barbara I love when women get the men the what's not. And Sami just did that. Good on her. I love men, don't take me wrong but sometimes they need some talking to. You did that brilliantly. Ulla xcx

I love it. Sami has a mouth on her and she doesn't hesitate to use it. It is lucky she isn't working for him or I'm sure he would have fired her. He was way out of line. I hope that get Noah in trouble. Galvin is the one that needs his job.

I love the Sami roasted Baldwin's behind. Some bosses need to be talked to in a way that lets them know being a boss does not make then immune to mistakes. I admire her courage, she really has nothing to lose and she no doubt feels that she owes it to Noah to stand up for him and the team.

I thought this was a better chapter. The dialogue here dug into some issues of male female relationships, tensions in the law enforcement team, and the truly horrible things that can happen to these girls when they fall into the clutches of pimps. The exchange between Sami and Gavin was pretty crisp, and she holds her ground there, as one might expect. The conversation between Sami and Sarah was also good. There we dig into issues of tensions between husbands and wives over having children, and the emotions are out on the sleeves there as well. estory

Hi, Barbara
Their boss, Galvin, sounds like a complete asshole. But, I have to wonder who told him that Sami was putting everyone under her spell at least all the men
Who would've told him that? Mateo? It seems that if Matteo was suspected of being a pedophile and of blowing the arrest of Chen, That they might have interrogated him and maybe he's the one that spilled the beans about Sami and her relationship with Noah
Here it should be imagine
""I'm sure losing her had to be devastating. I can't image the pain.""
I enjoyed reading your book chapter
Good job. Thank you for sharing.

Galvin has already met Sami and figured it out himself. Mateo got permission to take the young girl to the restaurant from Noah. Mateo is a good guy. Thank you for the catch. I have made the correction. I appreciate the help.

I love the clarity with which you present your story. The dialogue is clear and real. The story is progressing nicely and Mr Chen appears to be easily sorted in the future. Although I expect there will be a twist.
Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing.
