Another good chapter
your story moves at a steady pace which is easy to follow
Anna is lucky Troy is still around
She doesn't seem to appreciate him at all silly girl
He only wants to help
It is such a shame Anna is still living in fear of her ex-husband even through he is locked away

The artwork is really a gem!
Very well-written! I am reading this story for the second time as my net connection failed yesterday before I could write a review!
Very grasping and interesting!!
Pleasure to read!

Another well penned chapter, I not that familiar with the plot but its easy to feel for Anne, I hope she learns to trust again.

This story is getting so good, I just love reading it. It is so sad that Anna is still tormented by her brute of an ex-husband. It takes time to rebuild trust after being in an abusive situation, and your words convey this message. Also, I just love the painting your husband did! You and your husband are so talented, you make a great team. I look forward to your next chapter. It was a pleasure to read and to review your work. :)

I have finally caught up and am still intrigued. I must say I want to know what is going to happen. Anna still has some adjusting to do and you show that very clearly.

You could not live without your muse and I know Anna would not be as alive with Troy by her side.As always your story is very well written and has good dialogue and characters.
Very believable I would recommend this to others. Blessings Rita

This is my first time reading your work so i don't have any background knowledge of the story. It has a good flow but I am left wondering why spend so much time on where to hang a painting. The most moving and telling part was the end and perhaps when someone states how much the child looks like him. I'd build on those emotions or the character embarrassment on that being noticed and trying more or less to pull attention away from the remark and also Michael's reaction which i only dimly got he didn't want it to publicly displayed. Good work. I would continue to read more.

There's a very major reason why I spent so much time on the placement of the painting. I never put anything in a post without a reason. Thank you for your kind review.

Hi Barbara:
Another nice pacing chapter. Once more you show Anna and Michael becoming more integrated into Troy's family. It is obvious that Troy's love is building up, but sadly, the past abuse that Anna suffered still lingers in her mind and keeps her from recognizing a warm and genuine relationship. Mainly she feels unworthy of a romance with Troy.
Now that loud muffler brings back the fear of her ex husband. who is driving the unseen car?

Poor Anna, still tormented
by her brute of an ex-husband
who gives her no peace.
But she has a good friend in
Troy and his parents...Michael's
adopted grand-parents.
Loved this chapter,
you never disappoint, Barbara.
