Gretchen, I really enjoyed this great romantic story. Cary has loved her from the beginning and always came in second because of those other *amazing guys*! Now, he is number one. I am glad you have revived this story. Thank you,,,,,,,Jim

You have to accept me as I am. I'm a squanderer of sixes. I never go past Monday with them. Invariably, along comes a brilliant piece on Tuesday and all I can offer is my apologies and praise. This was one of the most touching pieces of romantic fiction I've read. Not schmaltzy, but with the right amount of romantic dialogue, believable characters I can really like and a plot that builds OUT OF the characters' essence--not just added on to showcase the characters or a theme.

You really outdid yourself on this one, Gretchen.

I had to give you a six for this one. It is a great story and of course has the sweetness of a happy ending. Too much sex and violence all the time. It is depressing. Thanks for posting this Gretchen well done dear. Have a great day.xx Nancy

Thank you. I can't take romance stories that are nothing more that physical expressions. Nothing is sexier than being in love with your best friend. Lol. Thanks again for the wonderful rating. Gretchen

You know, there is always something special about these little romantic stories that seem to trigger a spark somewhere deep in our own hearts, projecting a full-blown movie screen behind our eyes, of some magical moment that's always nice to remember. Great job. :-)

Well, you might not like to write romance, but you certainly have the knack for it. And don't tell anyone and blow my image, I'm kind of a sucker myself for the sweet stuff. Thanks for sharing. I didn't want to erase the first review, so I just left them both.

This is the most wonderful love story ever. Sometimes love is right before our very eyes. Thank you for posting this again.

Without a word, Cary nodded and sat down next to Maggie. (You can omit down, it's understood.+

You have chosen a nice nighttime picture to go with your story. It fits well. I love your story, too. It's a gentle love story - no smut, just sweetness. I could easily visualize the whole storyline. To me, this is the mark of a great story.

Thank you for sharing...Penny

Hi, Gretchen

= I love this story!
= So simple, sweet, but you built up the romance and Cary's fear of the Ferris Wheel, and his feelings for Maggie.
= I was going to point out some needed commas, but I got so engrossed in your story, I forgot! (*<*)
= Nice job, my friend.

(*>*) A Smile Is A Frown Turned Upside-down (*>*)
Cheers & Blessings ... Jacqueline

A great surprise comes near the top,and the old man stops it and Cary tells Maggie that he loves her, and that he had always loved her, ever since grade school, he knew everything about, but he had never let on. When he kisses her, she hears fireworks, she'd always thought he'd been afraid of heights. Well done, Gretchen, excellent story, love story with a twist, great deign, wonderful plot, excellent work,. Blessings, Roy

A lovely story. Sometimes its nice to just sit back and see a happy ending unfolding like a flower. The imagery was beautiful, I could almost feel the wind's breath as the Ferris wheel went around.

This is a wonderful story. I love trying to figure out how a story is going to end, and while I was hoping they'd get together, I didn't see that he'd been creating their time at the time. Very nicely done!

Thank you. I try to keep the reader guessing and rooting for the main characters so I guess it worked.
