toward the East, the direction of my cousin(')s village.
the open desert and the adventure (lying) ahead of us.
As I rode along(,) I saw the sky darkening ahead of me
was loud and fierce(.) (S)and blew and blew(.) (A)t times
Then I felt Clara rising gently(.) (S)he first
Then she shook (herself) and stood up quickly
All at once I was free(.) (H)er hair had
I looked around(.) (T)he wind-swept desert was smooth and
away toward my cousin(')s home, I pretended

Ah Caroline this is cute. I've only seen a camel in the zoo, as I imagine most people have. My mother-in-law went to Israel at age 79 and rode a camel. LOL. She was very adventurous. Miss Sally

Thanks Miss Sally, I have never been on a camel but would love to ride one. Did you read the first Clara the Camel story? This is the 2nd in the series. This was a great review you gave. :-) Carolyn
