What beautiful imagery you've created, Gary, in this free verse poem! I am particularly moved by the last two lines:

Beautiful artwork that complements your poem extremely well.
Quite a bit of rhyme in it and a good flow. You talk about many I think that are not right and will soon die.

This is such a powerful piece. You really didn't need the picture to portray the power of your words, but the picture you chose was absolutely perfect. Illusion crust, I love that, then ending it with a question was a nice touch.

Well written. Full of emotion and hope. I like all the use of all the 'ity' words.
This fairy has the ability to rise like a phoenix more than the rest of us because she has wings. We do seem to forgive easier at the end of life than during life when it is most needed and helpful.
Will her black wings and dark dress turn white after her grieving is over. I have always thought all fairies should have white wings.

Forgive me if I offend you with this next comment but with the greatest respect for you as an amazing wordsmith but I found this piece very labour intensive a collection of beautiful collective phrases that could stand proud as individual lines in their own right.
hey its just my opinion as my style is of simple 4 line rhyme with no flowery descriptive terms but I so love to read wordsmiths with the calibre of your work but find them mind intensive to decipher until several reads.
