There's nothing better than country music except Down home blues LOL
They are in the same boat telling how someone broke their heart.
Thank you for sharing keep up the good work. When will I see that spiritual write?

Another good lyric poem from. A familiar kind of story, well told with a good rhythm - it swings along. Love lost and the character feels it is for the best, but as the song goes on it is evident he is still longing for the girl. An appealing story and it would be good to hear it sung. A fine dedication to FS readers of your poems. Warm regards Dorothyx

Felt a melody coming through on this, fer sure. Hope you wrote some music to go with it? Unfortunately I have no sound on my outer ATM.

Not my genre but you write well, you already know that. The meter and beat are good and the story is easily followed. Good luck to you in your endeavors.

Got another good song here. The rhyme and cadence work great for music and I expect to be hearing it soon on the radio. I like the subject of a 'ramblin' woman because you so often hear about men who can't settle down, but you have turned the table.

Good-Bye, adios, Fin. Time to start anew. This is very well written with an interesting scenario. There is very good imagery. Good job.

Hi Brett,
I still don't have any sixes. If I did you'd get them for the lyrics of this country song that you've written so well. Country music has been my favorite kind of song for most of my years. Every once in awhile I'd switch to something else, but always, in a short while, I'd come back to country. You did a great job on this.

This is a very sad song. I love country music, but every song I have heard lately has been about lost love lol. This is not good for the lonely hearts club lol. I did enjoy it though. Thank you for sharing.

Mathew, you write good lyrics, my friend. I enjoyed your poem from begining to end. I still have to go back and read your lyrics. But one that I read also is that oneDaddy when you coming...It is also one that I read with pleasure. I suppose I raed that six. But this poem you have is equally excellent. Oh,I really admire your expressions. I want to be your fan. Thank you for sharing.

Wow! This song will, surely, flow without a bump as I did not notice any as I read.
It is about a relationship that ended because only one of the two parties feels he has a responsibility to sustain the relationship. This type of relationship is like driving carefully along the road to avoid a crash when other drivers don't give a damn. You will still be vulnerable to their reckless attitudes.
Another song says, "you got to walk and don't look back and if you just put your hand in mind, we gonna leave all our troubles behind." Translation: If one finds another lover, he can forget about the past.
Thank you for sharing.
