If I had a six, you would have it; still, you reached all time best, cool! Through God's eyes, a good way of expressing your writing. No, only Jesus has seen His Father. We wait in joyful hope for the coming of the spirit! Well done my friend.

God is something we all have an opinion of, good or bad, we all have our own opinions. I like this because you do it in a way you don't come across as preachy. It's a wonderful job

You are welcome Roy I have a poem about our 3 children when they were young about questions they asked about Creation.
I wonder if it would be a good reply to your poem.
In other words should I post it?

Do you sing. I love it and would like to hear music with it. It has a nice flow and visuals. Do you have anything from the present on this site. I'm new here and trying to figure it all out. Thank you for sharing this.

I like your song, Roy. And it's easy for me to celebrate your faith. Faith is a deep well--especially in an arid land.
But faith--that thing that transcends understanding (John 3:16) doesn't suit all men's makeup. Yet are these men not made in His image, too? I can't conceive of a god who can't acknowledge doubt. Is vanity a sin reserved only for the image?
I mean no disrespect, Roy. It's just that I prefer to think of God as a debater.
Peace, Lee

I'm afraid God does understand doubt, it's one's lacking in trust that bothers Him, faith is not a feeling, it's like a child trusting you'll catch him if he jumps into your arms if there's a distance to fall, or switching on a light. Yes for forty years of my life I didn't understand either, Jesus said faith was like a mustard seed, the smallest of all seeds. Matthew 17:20, I too, am a ponderer, even with things I don't understand, there's a place where man's wisdom and God's part company, and that's what this song was about. One can't just glibly say, oh posh!! Saying it doesn't make sense, therefore one day I'll have understanding, Lee. My mind has limitations, but not God's, one is either a true seeker or he's not! Fantastic review Lee, I also mean no disrespect, blessings, Roy.

Beautifully written, Roy! Great imagery used. I was smiling when I read your notes because I was thinking the whole time what a great song this would make and it already is!

Hi Roy,
Great poem. Vivid images and good rhyme and flow. I especially love the image of a harness on the wind, riding a storm.
Loved it!
