so what is this young man up to that has him in such a rush to get to town for the evening? so is this going to be a continuing story or what?

I do mean for this to be chapter 1 of a novel or novella. Chapter 2 will reveal where he is going. I am still figuring out how to use the book application. I'll get there. :)

Thank you for a great review. I loved the insights about sunset as a metaphor for death. Who knows. That may well be what they are afraid of.
