I enjoyed reading this song lyric poems, the repetition of the lines gave it a lilting cadence that is perfect for the refrain and chorus of a song. The message of moving on is a positive virtue that needs to be promoted. Happy New Year.

Well, nothing like rubbing it in! The guy even has to bring up that the new girl is better looking. If she was cheating on him, maybe that's payback. Great lyrics, and this certainly fits the country song model. Great job of showing exactly what the narrator is thinking, and the wording sounds natural for the intended audience. Happy trails. judi

Beautiful lyrics, it does not help to cling to one that is not willing to be with you. Its not easy to find someone new, but when you do, show of and let the other one know you can live without them.
