A very well-written poem. Yes, we in South Africa, are always on the last stretch of winter, although I still hope for a bit of snow, I will be glad to see the Spring to bring new life to everything that is still sleeping.

Hi Sandra, Wow South Africa, We must be much the same in seasons. Yes I had a day in the garden and enjoyed the challenges of weeding , digging etc. so Thanks so much for reading and yes we have had snow here this year Brrr. Give me the sun any day. many Cheers my friend Christine😃
