This is a great story telling poem.
It rhymes all the while telling a wonderful story.
Some can't do what others can; they only admire from afar.
This is well-written.
I see no need for improvement.
Thanks for sharing this.
Good luck with your future writing!

I saw the movie, In To The Wild. Some college students can turn so eccentric away from their parents. I suppose it's part of growing up: developing into your personality. His one year to backpack up to Alaska before law school brought his happiness and death. It's all very sad.
I find your narrative storytelling to be compelling and added your point of view. Creative. Well thought out. Great visual imagery. Good rhymes and repeat rhymes. Great work.

Hi Sunni,
Thanks for taking the time to read and review. The sad thing is that every year people insist on hiking out to that bus and some have lost their lives, too. Others have gotten themselves in trouble and needed to be rescued. That movie needs to start with a disclaimer: "Don't try this at home." lol Oh well, it is bound to happen, I suppose.
Thanks for the excellent comments.
