The guy would not even TALK about the painting. Just hung up. Not even curious? No, he would have at least wondered about it and not hung up. So he must have known about the art but didn't want to discuss it. Stonewall. That's what they call it. I have a feeling Anderson won't let him ignore it for long. :)

He had already been contacted by the curator. He knew what it was about. Anderson won't allow him to ignore it or him. LOL Thank you for the kind review.

A great read once again. Thanks for keeping us in suspense. I love Shana and Emily. If at all possible I would love to see Shana and Anderson "get involved" one of these days. Now...a suggestion in intro... I'll get you when I'm finished and then we (can)find the treasure."

Made the correction. Thank you for the kind review. Shana and Anderson have a soft moment coming up, maybe in another month, but something happens. What??? I wonder.

Can't wait. Hope I am in line for an autographed hard copy whenever this is published. I helped Ron Craig with a host of Spagarama's even his editor missed (his sister) and he sent me his latest book which I got yesterday.

Your story's setting puts me in an area where I am familiar, which makes it all the more enjoyable. I once spent ten days as a guest of the Metropolitan Museum. I was allowed to take my time and piddle as long as I liked examining everything, and ate all my meals in the director's restaurant for free, besides the tips, of course. I stayed at the Carlyle Hotel. It had been years since I had been there to stay, but I had met people in the bar many times. I can't remember it changing in all those years, and as usual, I always nearly founder myself on cashews. Thanks for sharing another fine chapter. :-)

The Russians don't sound particularly cooperative. I agree with Anderson, Shana does not need to go to the restaurant, it is far too dangerous. I am not sure Anderson should go either even if Drew and Jeff go with him. This is getting exciting, I cannot wait until you post the next par of this chapter. Very nice work with this one so far.

The Russian has never dealt with Texans before. May God have mercy on his wayward soul. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read.

Anderson calls Kuznetsov to enable the opening of channels in order to recover Shana's family painting, but when he actually broaches the subject, he's hung up on. Meanwhile Helen ministers to the needs of Emily. They plan to go and confront kusnetsov methinks. Well done, Barbara, some excitement in store, blessings, Roy Typo : Speak with Ivan kusnetsov(a)

Now things are getting dangerous. I'm like Shana. Do we need to use force and is the painting worth dying over? We'll see. The action is tightening as the group zeroes in on their target in this thrilling chapter. Talk but carry a gun and a certificate. We'll see what happens. Thanks for sharing.

This speaks in continuation, now Anderson dialled the phone number of Ivan Kuznetsov they talked about the painting stolen during the World War II and the family wanted to get it returned but the phone went dead thereafter; I liked.
