Another read that I enjoyed, although I have problems understanding the explanations of the building process - it's becoming pretty complex now to my way of looking at things. Emotions are well-portrayed. kay

Hmm, a well written chapter, with a hint of a pseudo villain or bad guy in the works. (JMO) but I would avoid doing this again, with a 2D bad man wanting your female protagonist. I'm not harping on you, just that this happened in the last two novels.

Also, do two people who don't work together normally see each other every day?

Yes, if they're neighbors. I see my neighbors every day and we visit. It's small-town dynamics. Thank you for the kind review. Interesting point. On my FaceBook page, only in the evenings, I get adds for suggested romance novels to read, it's from Amazon. Although, different authors, each book is basically the same theme. I've taken time to read the first page. I find that interesting.

As for the last chapter, I think her reaction showed her inexperience in a relationship. She's never really weathered a storm in a relationship. This chapter shows she still has a bruised mindset with Seth. I liked the added thoughtfulness of Seth about the tulips. This was a good chapter that shows how they are learning about each other. Really enjoyed this. Now we need to do something about that creep. Gretchen

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

It would have been smart of Emma to let Hank call the police. That would have saved time and possibly made easier to catch the guy who assaulted her. Good thing Seth told Ace to accompany Emma. Emma's pride seems to be getting in the way in this chapter. Seems to me Emma should be looking for a job in the profession for which she was trained. Then she could afford the tulips. She certainly has Seth jumping through hoops trying to please her and protect her. I assume the guy at the hardware store is the one who's been stalking Emma. Great job with characterization, including the dogs! I like how you mix in the lighter scenes with the more dramatic moments. judi

More about all of this is yet to be revealed, to include Emma's teaching job.

Your story continues with this tension and lack of trust in Seth by Emma. He can't seem to do anything right and Emma remains hyper-sensitive to his motives. This depth of mistrust and fear is of course not helped by the fact she seems to be the target of random attacks which make her safety even more of a priority to Seth. Thanks for sharing another fine chapter, Barbara. Debbie

This is good. In small town people seem willing to help so the area for the dog is almost finished. It seems Emma is having a lot of problems. It is good Seth sent the dog along. She doesn't seem quite able to trust Selr not to judge her.
