Sami keeps getting herself into dangerous situations. She should let the authorities do their job. Noah seems quite capable, if he didn't have her in the way. She apparently has a problem trusting anyone in law enforcement. Actually, she's impeding the investigation. She isn't thrilled with the way Noah treated her, but he is doing his work as Trent. She's not going to like being in a safe house, but she's brought it on herself. I hope his liking for Sami wouldn't interfere with his job of investigating human trafficking. A gremlin struck: They range in ages from ten--to twelve. It's terrible that girls have to go through this, but it's happening. A significant subject to write about. Great work. judi

Sami doesn't know Noah is in law enforcement. The only law enforcement she's spoken with have told her there wasn't a kidnapping. I have made the correction, probably while you were reading. At the safe house, Noah will tell Sami who he is and what his job is. She won't be involved the case any longer, but still causes Noah trouble.

Lots of action and very well written. It flows well and keeps the reader on the edge wondering who has the upper hand. Sami is a spitfire and she could really get herself in a bind if she isn't careful. Well done, Barbara.
