I enjoyed this poem. You sum up life with one you care for very deeply. Great descriptions and the conflict and no peace is so true. Great read

Interesting little group of questionings here. I enjoyed how you left everything so open ended and allowed the reader's mind to simply wander to all possibilities.
Best,
Nadia

Peace is something we all must find. It is very difficult, at least for me it was, but without it we can drive ourselves crazy.

I have read quite a few of your poems over the last month, and what I enjoy most about all of them, including this one is your philosophy!
Thank you for sharing your poetry!

We all have our human journey. God knows this person as God knows us all. God can only decide which way our lives will go and when we die.
How we acheive our aspirations is decided by the person involved and God.
Great Writing

A wonderful photograph; I enjoyed your poem about aspirations. Could you write a little about the photograph? Obviously a family portrait, perhaps of yourself and child? Authors notes do help us understand your writing. A lot of unanswered questions as to how the man would live the rest of his life. I am still wondering.

Or live under the premise of whatever happens he will continue his journey with the conflict of never finding peace.
I enjoyed your 'Aspirations' above being my favorite part of your poem Deepwater, to never find peace! Now that would be a hard road to travel friend.

Deepwater writes deep poetry. I like it all, particularly:
Would he stand as stone on principles
Or bend to the ever moving passage of age
Excellent!

Life is a journey and what happens, will happen. Your words are written eloquently and have much meaning in them.
Most of us can relate to what you are saying here.
