This is pretty deep. I like that you seem to show how the world is falling apart, and would it be any better if the government came in a took controll. Would we be ale to survive as a globe with no free will. Great poem.

so intriguing that we can see the course as a treacherous one destined to only destruction, but we cannot/do no stop ourselves. questions do not unfortunately provide answers too often these days. thought provoking at worst, good thought, well timed message at best.

Your poem reminded me of a bumper sticker I saw once. "If you were on trial for being a Christian would there be enough evidence to convict you?" I think in today's society it would be difficult especially since it seems there's something wrong with being a Christian. I am worried about the divisions in our country. I read a poll that said the US hasn't been this divided since the Civil WAR. How scary. I enjoyed reading your poem. Your message is thought provoking.

Wow!!! You hooked me in a stream of deep thoughts. Are the dominating powers set on re-creation, or are we determined to rebuild the ark? I would recommend the short poem of hopeful contemplation to the youths of today. You got me ready to unleash my potential now. Thanks for sharing. Keep writing...

A lot of thought-provocation here. What will our world be like in say, 2022? Maybe the earth's been totally destroyed by then?? Yes, we're struggling to navigate through rough seas. Look at us now...Then go back to 1990...1972...1950...1900...18...
Undoubtedly, there's chaos just about e'where.

Deep and troubling questions. I do not purport to know or to have the answers, but I do know that this world will never change for the better until we figure out a way to deal with the fact that no man on this eart is any better or worse that the next. We may look differernt, speak a different tongue, wear a different type of clothing, even call our particular diety by a different name. The end result is that the blood we bleeed, the air we all require to breath, the water, the food. All the things that keep us alive or cause our deat makes us once and for all time brothers and we had better learn how to love and live with each other in peace.

You give out some very interesting thoughts, and quite honestly, I wouldn't be looking at the governments to put things right. We are in free-fall at the moment, where we land is anyone's guess. Lots of thought has gone into this poem, it asks many potent questions. I wonder if anyone can find an answer? xsx sandra

I find the religious undertones of this poem quite interesting as the two most notable fallouts from religion are war and overpopulation. The arks of today are the underground bunkers that have been built to ensure the survival of the elite. Great poem!

Hey Gary, your thought here is shared by many on this site including me. I wonder what the world is becoming with greed and hate being perpetrated by the senseless power tussles around. I doubt if anybody is thinking or interested in rebuilding any ark of salvatien. Too bad. Great work.

Chapter 34 of the book Writings From the Heart Are we determined to rebuild the ark? "A World of Difficulty" You have created some very hairy questions here. Some of them are pliable and probable, but others are real $64,000 questions. Well done. Good poem, well thought out.
