This is a fun and refreshing haiku that made me smile and say "Aha." You have a delicate use of words and a vivid use of language. This was a pleasure to read. I wish you success in the contest. Thank you for sharing.

Well done. I didn't know there was such a thing as a real money tree... I love its "trunk"? How tall does it get? Your poem is great. What do you mean by "leaning to the right"? Your 5-7-5 is spot on. Great write. Thank you for sharing.

Hello, I have money tree in my house and it leans to the right, I observed when I was writing, it is just what it means, no double meaning, just an observation. The money trees are more plant than tree, mine is about 3 or 4 feet tall. Thank you inside echo, I appreciate your review.

I had never heard of the kind of money tree you describe. It is one of those interesting little bonsai trees. I had to read it a couple of times to make sure the last line wasn't a political statement. This is one of those poems that is informative as well as artistic. Thank you for the botany lesson.

Yes, is not political, it is just a plant called the money tree and mine leans to the right, I observed while I was writing, it is an observation. Thank you for your review.

I enjoyed reading your nature Haiku poem. It is well written and it flows well. I like your artwork choice and your last sentence.

Not only is this a well written haiku, it is also educational. I like learning new things. I had no idea there was a planet called a money tree and certainly no idea how to to take care of it. This poem would have made a great entry in a contest. An excellent presentation all around.

Gypsy this is actually a good haiku with the satori line at the beginning. The subscript can most definitely be political in nature in that those with money lean toward the right - right wing, republican, conservative.

That is the beauty of haiku, then can be interpreted differently even if it was not the author's intention. I call it the truth of the Universe's drama.

Good one!

It is not a political statement, I have a money tree and it leans to the right. It was an observation. Thank you for the review.

This is a fine little haiku, which meets the criteria perfectly:
money tree in spring

so easy to grow and feed

leaning to the right
I gather it is a right wing tree?
:)

LOL everybody thinks it's political but the truth is that my money tree was leaning to the right when I was writing the haiku, it was an observation. Thank you curly Girly

What a pretty plant - is this a picture of your money tree? (Can I borrow some money? LOL) Your poem is a perfect syllable count - I'm not sure I get the "aha" moment in the satori though - is it some political statement?

You made me want one of these now. :)

LOL no, no political statement. My money tree is a plant that I have in my living room and it really was leaning to the right when I was writing this, it was an observation. Thank you for the review and the 5 stars :)
