Wow Sally. This is very powerful stuff. Putting stories like this in writing and preventing them from sounding maudlin is hard to do. I t youhink it causes both the writer and the reader to reach very deep. You wrote this very well. Z

Thank you so much for your kind review of yet another group of tear-jerking stories. I'm pleased you and all the men folk are enjoying these. {Smiles.} Really, I just love it when the men enjoy these stories as well. Sending you my best today as always,

Sally. I believe men are far more sentimental than many women. (*_*)

It's good when one has a chance to make amends before leaving this world. I wonder how many people never have/take that chance. This has a wonderful ending.

This is a good story. I think it's important to settle old hurts before leaving the planet. It makes it an easier transition for everyone. Sometimes people don't do that and it prolongs grieving and guilt for those who must carry on with no answers. Marilyn

Thank you for the outstanding review and helpful critique, Geoff. I repaired that lime and must have come too close to staggered. I have repaired it. Thanks so much for catching that. I am deeply honored by your continued kindness.

Oh, Sally, this brought tears to my eyes. Far too often, parents and children alike can be so cruel to each other by misunderstood pride. Your wonderful voice have come back in this wonderful piece, and I look forward to what is next. A hug. Ulla xxx

What a wonderful story, Sally. How I would love to bring about someone's sweetest days of their life. Probably underserved forgiveness is one of the few things that can bring about such unexpected joy. Now that Carl has died, I am curious as to what your sequel will be about. I look forward to it.

There's my dear Debbie Pope! I'm so glad you're enjoying these. What's four more? These are ramping up so stay tuned.
A big year for me as 'What The Blind Girl Saw' is coming soon. My family published a rough copy for me for Christmas! I've cried and cried! It's missing the last two chapters, but I will add those in January and send it in for the final printing. I am beside myself! Thanks so much for all your encouraging reviews and feedback all year, my first reviewer. :) ;)
Love,
Sally Law xoxo

The 'love letter' was very touching. Well-written from deep within the heart.
Having to face the end of life can be very over-whelming. It is sad that it takes things like that to cause one to rethink thier past and to wish to make amends.
Well done.

Any piece of writing that moves me to tears is an automatic six stars. This is a powerful piece of writing. I look forward to reading the other letters too. If only we didn't so often wait until it's too late to reach out in love and respond with forgiveness.
Thank you for writing this.
All the best,
Jan
