Light and whimiscial and yet thought provoking because we all want to use our imagination and yet reality comes through. Very well done and strong for the contest

Thanx so much for the review, Barb -- your support is always so wonderful and I am forever grateful!! ;)
I do so apologize for the tardiness (and cut-and-pastiness!) of this response, I have been (still am!) in the midst of converting everything to online learning for the mandated school closings for the foreseeable future. Once I get ?ahead? in this ?change of venues? (i.e., instruction in cyberspace ? lol!), I promise to be back to ?me? in my responses? you know, the crazy blonde fantasy chick! ;) ;)
Be safe and, remember, if you see any offerings/reviews from me, they are my ?escape? from this insanity? you know, my pressure release valve!! ;) ;)
Take care of you and we?ll be sailing smoothly again in a few more days? hopefully!

Fairies are delightful figments of the imagination when we are in a dreamy state. I have become The Good Tooth Fairy. I drop into the dreamy state, and out flows an A4 page letter to my current "lost a tooth child". I see my fairy self clear as a bell...

You have a hard row to hoe, but just keep plugging away. All your hard work might come in handy one day. Make backups...

This cinquain, Revelations of Age, has the proper formatting and may be sadly sighting that the fantasies of infancy are at some point shown to us as the finite life available to dreamers. Watch the fire little moth.

A very well-written Cinquain about the childhood fairies flitting around the candlelight become the pesky moths when we are grown-up. We cannot see the real fairies anymore.

Hello Yvette. You did a great job on the cinquain poem. As I read the poem and the description of the fairies I was waiting for something other than the irony of the last two words. Nice job.
Good luck in the contest.

Hey Yvette. YOU'RE WELCOME.
I was an optimist myself. HAHAHAHA
Comment from Debbie Pope
Sometimes I see angels, Yvette. Even as a child, I never saw a fairy. That shows how special your imagination is. You can let go of reality better than anyone that I know.
This is a sweet one.

Enjoyed how you took us into a magical realm and back to reality in the brevity of a cinquain poem! Great use of alliteration especially of words that begin with "f"! Best to you in the contest!
