This is a great patriotic poem to save our United States from those who hate everything she stands for! Those who taught and influenced our children to hate our country and history are traitors!

This is exactly the situation that is seen from outside the states:"We don't want the freedom you died for. We want
to tear down everything including history; so no one can
learn what price freedom costs; to live without
laws and cops; no honor, to let
freedom be, no more, no more!"
"Burn it Down, we say."
We know you are
angry, so are
we! America
Stand!"

Not enough can be said about the outrageous acts that are happening. I am a Canadian and very interested in what happens in the U.S. because we eventually mirror your actions. Already we have a group rising "Black Students Matter." My God, I hope your leaders coalesce soon and do something about the lawlessness you are experiencing. It is Criminal!
Ralf So, don't stop writing your meaningful poems JLR.

Ralf, thank you! This Marxism movement is beyond frightening. They want to white wash history so we forget what the cost is to get our country back on even ground, Not perfect but not militant and lawless.

Who would have thought, after the strict years of dissing Communism you would see it rise in America.

Dear JLR, a masterful job you have done with crafting this post.
Not only have you delivered a powerful message, but also neatly fitted it into a 20 line poem with the additional challenge of the ascending and descending word count.
Bravo!

I love the message that you are conveying in your poem. The art work is very appropriate. I had trouble with the flow of the poem, but otherwise it was wonderful.

Many people feel this way. We are silent. I'm glad you are not. We wait for sanity to return to our beautiful country, but no sanity comes. People around the world are dying to come to America while some American citizens who have it all... tear it apart. Marilyn

Marilyn, thank you for this six-star review. It is truly amazing isn't that the migration to America is so strong if this country is so bad....
wow, I don't think these young people could survive a day in Russia.

It would be a huge mistake to assume that African Americans hate America. The truth is that we more than a lot of people, love Anerica, would rather live here than any place else. What we hate is despit the many sacrifices we have made for America, we are still treated like we have done nothing but take from America. We have fought in wars where we were segregated, we have always paid our taxes, we do not need any extra reasons to be sent to jail. Most of us are law abiding, still arrested at the highest rate. Still, with all of this and more, we still love America, it is our home, it is our hope. The frustration is that anyone not black can make any aspersion about us that they choose and the majority of people believe it. I am not saying that any of this applies to you, but it breaks my heart that my statements are all too true.

Nomi, I am so very aware that there are a majority of people of color who truly love America, even when the system has not been so kind. My rant is about the ANTIFA and VANDALS and that are reflective of a herd mob mindset that are not protesting, they are destroying other peoples property and lives, I blame the money machine 24 hour news channels that replay the worst of scenes over and over days on end and never, ever interviewing the people that live in the middle of the brough haha and are in fear of their safety. I fear for anyone of the 98% of good cops of any color who's lives are on the line everyday and thrown into the same swamp as the 2% bad cops that should be thrown into prison. My family immigrated to the US when I was six years old, while white, I spoke with a brogue and I was very poor,so I know something about discrimination. I remember, August 28th 1963, when Dr King delivered his "I have a Dream" speech at the Lincoln memorial. I was thirteen and his speech as life transforming for me - Pray that GOD will rise up leaders of all colors and SHOUT THE VOICE OF REASON that we must change, America must change, but ALL have to respect and follow the law of the land. In closing, you and I could be the beginning of having what we all need to do = hearing one another's story, and say, I see the Godperson in you and we are good!

I thank you for your detailed and heartfelt response. I have read your past work and do not believe or think you to be a biased person. Like you I have very strong feelings about what is going on in our country rigt now. I am a veteran who can trace my ancestry in America all the way back to the 1600's. I have never been arrested or been in any kind of trouble with the law. I say all of this to say that I and you are alike in many ways.. I too was sickened by the visions of people looting from people who done nothing to deserve this. I will end here, but I have so much more to say.
-
Thank you for the service to our country, for your voice of reason and I offer my prayers that we can find a meaningful solution for all
-
Amen.

Hi JLR,
I pray you are doing well these days. Prayer is needed, so much more! You definitely met the poem's requirement. Your poem is very powerful and true in many ways. What is happening to our America? So many opinions and true feelings are on the rise. I like your honesty and true feelings how you feel? I enjoyed reading your poem to the end. I agree that somethings need to change. Thanks for sharing this HEARTFELT poem. Lovely presentation and format. I agree," America, Stand!!! Nicely done. Happy writing:-)

Joyce, I know that discrimination runs rampant, not only in America but around the world. I spoke with a brogue and I was very poor, so I know something about discrimination. Hi JLR,
I appreciate you sharing a little of your story with me. Yes, we are good. I pray we will see a peaceful world one day for our children and grandchildren. I am an optimist, so I feel a change is coming for EVERYONE. We have to move forward with gladness in our hearts. Have a wonderful day.

I love this, so meaning and true. How can people these days not respect the freedom we have. honor those that have fought for this country and the freedoms we get to have. I can not understand this newer generation and what is happening. It really scares me for our future generations, will there even be an America in the future. Great piece.
