Only a sculptor can see the beauty in a stone and you my friend, saw the grandeur in the statues turning them into a wonderful poem, beautifully composed; thanks for the treat.

I thoroughly enjoyed your interpretation of this artwork. It's actually comforting to see them as protectors in your celestial wanderings. Perhaps it could be your title : Celestial Guardians? Just a thought...well done!

I am not sure if this is somewhat of a connection to the present times with a hidden agenda, yet, I would rather not delve too deeply, so I will take it at face value and say this is very well written, Great poetic aura and flair deserving of mention.
I will give this a sixth star without deeper thinking, for on any other day it is worth.

I enjoyed your challenge poem for the club. Your free verse reads well with good word choices, great imagery, some alliteration, and a good them of these statues guarding you. I like how you described each to you left and to your right with you in the middle. Thanks for sharing.

A very well-written poem and an excellent interpretation of the pix this challenge. It seems the one smiling is happy and sure everything is going to be alright but his guardians are not so sure.

Indeed a very exciting read filled with many delighting attributes projected in a visual journey. I too share interests about these Island stones. All views stated in my opinion.
