What beautiful tribute, Dean. This was, of course, well written and heartfelt.
I never knew her so I am glad you wrote this for us all to see.
The pictures, moving water, and music really choked me up.
I am amazed by the wonderful community you all share here at Fanstory!
Very well done.

Sorry for the cut and paste reply, y'all. I just wanted you to know that it's my fault, not yours, I am so far behind. I just wanted to say 'THANKS!'

I don;t write poetry, so I'm not as familiar with all of the poets on the sight. This was such a beautiful tribute. I have always been grateful for the time and effort the writers have put in to make some of us better writers. Pam sounds like a beautiful person.

No worries. We all get there from time to time.

She was a rare friend, unselfishly helping those who needed encouragement and inspiration.
I love this poem, love the imagery you created, letting your friend know she was appreciated.
You captured her, captured the essence of what this poetry site can always be because of her and others like her -- a place where we help one another grow in our love of writing.
Excellent.

Dean Kuch,
This is an exquisite work in which its very structure is deserved of exceptional, as this poem appeals to the whole of the reader. The sentiment, likewise, is more than worthy of a six.
Gungalo(Pam) was not only an amazing and gifted poetess, she was wonderful friend and human being. We were all starkly surprised and incredibly saddened by her passing. You have captured her essence perfectly in this work.
Thank you for sharing... JLS

A very lovely tribute to what I can only imagine being a great Lady! The song you chose complimented it well. I had a lump in my throat reading it and it brought a tear to my eye. Great job!! I think She would be proud! Jane

It's getting hard to write about someone you care about and miss them so dearly.
I'm lost for word in trying to express my feeling for someone I never met in person/
still there is something I never felt with people I see face to face.
could it be because what she wrote I felt through and through. and knew it was true.
Thank you for sharing this heartfelt write.

Dean, I read this and wished I'd known her better. What a beautiful tribute to a lady who was obviously well-loved by many here. Love the poem, the picture, the music...together it is just about perfect.

That is terrible news - I just thought she was busy and the news about Maureen is so worrying too. This is a beautiful poem, Dean, with heartfelt author notes, pictures and music. Gungalo helped me too and tried her best with me. Best wishes, Pete
