I absolutely loved this story in a poem. It flowed off the page without every skipping a beat telling an awesome story along the way! Well deserving of a six!!!!! Bravo! Loved the author's notes, too, explaining the situation!

What an adventure you had with this message in the bottle. And what a special man to have taken the time to answer and deliver the message back to you.
Your eyes must have bugged wide open when you saw the bottle. What a thrill, closest I've ever gotten back from sending a message in a bottle was a coconut. Ya washed up on the riverbank in Vancouver BC. weird eh?
Good reading, fast, to the point and adventuresome.

A really well delivered message, your rhyming was perfect in this poem and it gave it a great rhythm, I thought it was one of those poem, that once you had started reading you couldn't stop, a great poem well done on this one :)

Nicely written poem.It is exciting to think this was written based on a true life experience. I liked these lines best:

Send your burdens to me in prayer, I'll answer right away,

and when in doubt, don't spell it out, get on your knees and pray."
