I've driven by those beautiful homes in their delightful setting a few times, being slightly envious of there locale. Terrible tragic loss of property. life, livestock and wildlife, there were some terrible bush fires some years ago, loss of life and property occurred we've had some of our own here in the Barossa, not far from where we live. Beautifully written Christine, you display your concern, compassion and skill in rendering this fine work, well done, HNY, blessings, Roy

Hi Roy Ah the Barossa one of my favourite drives and some lovely wineries, and yes The bushfires are such a tragic event anywhere and at this time of the uesr so many tourists flock to the great Ocean Road which is still blocked off so a lot of rebuild will need to be done. Thankfully no one was killed several injured emergency service people and hopefully they will make a full recovery.
