You capture the tempest well in this piece, those monstrous waves splintering your craft and leaving you to drown. Why do I get the feeling that you lived this?

This is a poignant poem of those last moments and the world beyond for seafarers lost to the tumult. It seems to catch the fury of the sea and the plight of the lone seaman against nature's strongest force. Good read.

This is an experience that I'd rather enjoy from your words, than to suffer as a helpless sailor out on the seas. I felt the panic, and I'm so glad it's not real. I'll fresh up my coffee and be thankful for the read. Great job. :-)

Melancholy and filled with high tension and imagery. The sea captures and keeps those that sail upon her waters.
Your poem is filled with many details that keep the reader engaged. Love the interior rhymes.
Great story poem.

A very well written and deeply meaningful poem. I don't think I have read your work until today, but both of these are really awesome and I look forward to reading many more. Take care, my friend~Debbie

I like the rhyme scheme. I would capitalize the beginning of each line to give it some impact. Other than that some good rhymes. good job.

I love how you detail every action in this and especially loved the picture for it. I thought it was great to add the boat to it sailing away.

I love this exciting but sad sea story. I love to read about sailing. You have rekindled the fire to feel the wind and the waves. Your poem reminds me of "The Perfect Storm". Well done.
