I love the old pictures and the older ways of love. There was so much respect and genuine feeling back then, not so superficial and shallow as today. Great job.

I liked the first line. Its full of optimism and hope. Not sure about the second line. Sorry, in my head it just doesn't go along with the first. Is there something that I'm missing? I thought there might be a detail about the lovely picutre that I wasn't understanding.

Fewer are your words, and you you make them count.
This is enjoyable stuff.
The faith of love blooms high this day
As Birds on wing do hail[ loved the flow]
Best of luck in the contest

What can you do in fifteen words? I think you did pretty well. I've always thought pictures were important, I think especially so in such a short work. The picture was perfect. You can see love in her face and even her confident walk

Kudos my friend for a very short dissertation on love! Ah yes, spring, when a young man's fancy turn to what the ladies have been thinking about all year long! LOL Cheers!

I guess these lines speak of the lady in the picture anticipating a meeting with her lover, but it has to be a guess. You are buying lots of favourable reviews; why not earn them by spending more time refining your poetry? Don't copy my suggestion; you can surely do it yourself. I'm offering help, not censure.
The faith of love flies high this day [alliteration added]
As Birds sing on the wing [rhyme added]
P.S. I've regraded but I stand by my critique, Peter

Of course I adore this short poem which says so much briefly. But since the picture is set in the 40's I relate to that to, because my parents met and married then, actually it was 1946 when they married. I feel like maybe you had someone in mind from this time period, but whatever the inspiration, I think the words speak of being in love and being so happy.

What a perfect picture to go with the dreams of young love coming soon. You really said a lot in such a very short poem. You deserve your "Recognized" award and more. Good luck in the contest.

This poem leaves me rather puzzled. 'Faith of love' to me is a strange expression. Hailing birds on wing also seems strange.
