Good message. Seems that no one takes pride in their job anymore, which is why you end up calling and complaining so often about service and products and getting nowhere.

A great insight into the importance of a military dog. To protect them while sleeping is outstanding. A dog is an everlasting friend that is loyal and never abandons their owner. Dogs do their jobs with competency at all times. They provide love, comfort, and safety to their owners.

deepwater, I think I might be reading out of order with this but the picture grabbed my attention first then the wonderful read. I used to have a dog that looked very much like the picture you chose. Great job, excellent read, I really enjoyed it. Judy

Good friends are truly hard to find, and your poem expresses so well what a good friend is - I don't think there're any better than man's bet friend - loyalty, devotion and unconditional love! Nicely expressed, though you never actually mention the canine, you DO describe the attributes of a good friend. :)

This was a very interesting poem. It made me go over some of my own reactions to certain trials and tribulations. Nice imagery and the flow was wonderful. Nicely done.
