Very creative and interesting images. I like the idea behind the story. It's written well and flows smoothly. Good imagination and images used.

Excellent rhyming and flow of words. You paint vivid pictures that are scary and give one much to think about.
I like the line "Night Eve to plant a tree."

This is a nice story even though i seem to be starting from the middle. The language is very ripe and lucid; VERY accessible. Nice rhymes too. kudos

Hi Mike. I'm enjoying this story and expect to see a book someday! Good rhythm throughout, great choice to repeat the same word in consecutive lines even thought that often doesn't work. Love the word "regenesis." I have never heard of the word "nowt" and could not find it in the dictionary. Is it a real word? Spelled correctly? Nie job. Look forward to the next installment. Sue

Thanks, Sue :-). Nowt is just UK English for Naught, and has confuzzled many a reviewer! I'd love to turn this into an illustrated book; like a poetry graphic novel or something. That would be cool!

now petrified by fear.
Her snakes my desperation,
my crime a single tear."

FLEEDLEFLUMP-Hello today-this was some really good reading here...you have taken so many elements and I'm a lover of Greek Mythology and Medusa has always been such a bad-snake in my head character that I could have stop reading right there! The writing is dark and mysterious and you lead us up and down various caverns on this journey of possibilities-very well structured and written superbly...thanks for sharing

Good poem, very enjoyable. Well written but, I tell you, I would love to just sit and read it in a story. Seems there would be much more info.. However as i said this was very good... Well done!

Thank you, Dall! I admit, my first instinct was to write it as a story, but I have so many of them on the go at the moment, I thought it'd be interesting to do it in poetry form. Really glad you enjoyed the read!
