Hi Barbara,
I feel the power of emotion really strongly in this chapter. Sara seems really taut with feeling, shown by her distress about choosing something as simple as the color of paint for her lounge.
You have the reader on tenterhooks wondering what is happening, yet some how having the reassurance that it will work out in the end.
Just a wee mistype I believe:
*Dani laughed, It's happens to me often.
Should 'it's just be 'it'?
Does not affect the atmosphere of the story.
My hopes and prayers are with you this Thursday. That the treatment will be effective and not too distressing for you.
Thinking of you and yours.

Thank you for catching that. As often as I read it, I still make mistakes. I appreciate your thoughts and prayers on Thursday.

It is a good chapter and I like the way you added the painting to ease some of the tension. The characters are growing well and I wish I had a George sometimes.

Thank you for your kind review. I am sure the chemo therapy room will be crowded, but I will need all of your support.

Another great chapter, but more importantly I read your author notes and I am praying for you. I will think about you on Thursday. I know so many people on here care about you and we will all be supporting you. God Bless you.

I am sure that everyone of us will have you in our hearts and minds on the 28th. Chemo has improved so much over the years that some people don't have the side effects that use to happen all the time. Kkeep the faith girl and I am with you in spirit. I can even harass you about more chapters if you think that will make you feel better :)

Thank you for your kind review. I know this chemo room is small, but all I friends will be there to help. Thank you.

The chemo you are facing is not the chemo you have been reading about, the dreadful bouts of nausea, etc. The reactions are much milder nowadays;and medications to overcome any bad symptoms. You might loose your hair, but the good news is that you will grow it back thicker than it was before.
This chapter was awfully sad- I wish they'd find that little girl. I admire the strength of character that lets painting be a project in the midst of the anxiety.

Thank you for your kind review and thoughts. My chemo oncologist prescribed a pill to take an hour before chemo for the nausea. Six pills cost $807.99. My portion was only $9.00, not everybody can afford that. That's $134.67 per pill.

Astonishing! how do people who are not employed or who have low-paying jobs handle this? It is almost criminal that these drugs are not available to each and every chemo patient. When it coms to quality of life remedies, the pharmaceutical companies can afford to give a little back. Surely you have asked if there is a generic version of this medicine. I took something called Paramin or Pramine that helped. I don't think it cost much, but we have a sort of socialized medicine here so I'm not sure. I send you much love and many thought for your quick recovery. Marcella

I have been shocked by this. A lady I work with went through the same ordeal three years ago and her insurance isn't as good as mine and couldn't afford the pills, not the same, but still very expensive. Her doctor gave her some of his trial medicine.

Another interesting chapter. I like the fact Sarah paints to take her mind off the situation it adds depth to her character. Some people choose to re arrange their furniture, some spring clean, Sarah paints :-)
I noticed a couple of small typo's
[dark gray,] I'm not 100% sure but i think you need a hyphen in there
but he always stays (un) control - in?
I'm sure he can see it in your face or feel it in (you) your? touch.
Good luck with the chemo x

Barbara,
You know that my thoughts and prayers are always with you and I have faith that all will go okay. When you step into the room for your chemo just remember that so many people who love you are crowding the room by your side.
As for the story...I think the characters are some of your best...You really are drawing their inner most feelings out and expressing them so well. I am definitely enjoying the story. Great job.
Smiles and only good thoughts...Carol

Sara is holding very well considering the circumstances. I'm glad George is with her and helping her to stay composed by allowing her to paint. This was a very good chapter.
