Hi Barbara,
This is such a touching chapter and it almost brought tears to my eyes. Poor Anna she has suffered so at the hand of the monster she married. I hope they put him in jail to keep her from harm at least for a while. I don't know why women stay with their abusive husbands but for some reason they do. I have faith that Troy and his father will help her and can hardly wait to see what happens next. Happy Easter to you. Blessings, chey

I like the dialogue
I feel the intrigue more with the dialogue.
The plot is now coming into action.
I thought Troys father warned him but now gets involved as well

This chapter is well written and makes an excellent addition to your story. The only bad thing now is, we have to wait until the next chapter to see if arrangements will be made so Anna can afford a lawyer.
