A great entry into the 55-word contest, Bob. You created a complete story with a beginning, middle, and ending. Many of the entries didn't manage to get a complete story conveyed. Best wishes!

Very good writing here, your words tell a super message about two people in love how in the end it was I do. Pretty picture to go along always makes it better. Great story in a few words. Great writing is always.

Could this be about your true life romance? I won't tell. Such emotion brought to the surface with so few words to build emotion. Yet you pulled it off. Most of these contest entries won't even try this genre. But you pulled it off my friend. Powerful.

How lovely and sweet! This is, indeed, a true love story. The language is beautiful without being flowering, but it is colorful and descriptive. You worked a lot into such little space! Good luck in the contest.

Hi Bob. Well, my name is Vista. I'll give you a minute. Yeah, it's Vista. I was born in 1961 when nothing else was called that except VistaVision, which is where my little country Mama found it. Truth is stranger than fiction.
Thanks so much for the welcome. People have been so nice, and I'm thrilled to be part of the community. Thanks for keeping track of me, and I will return the favor.
Gratefully,
Vista Kay (VK)

Ah, one finds love that springs eternal from within the human breast. A spring time affair where lust courses through the veins, then warmed to the boiling point by summer sun usually fades away in the fall. But it did not and the love story ends on a joyous note when "Brad said, "I do." (55 words)

Love the subtle way you make an ordinary love story extraordinary in 55 words by reversing the expected. A confirmed bachelor is won over by his confident lover. A spring meeting leads to an autumn wedding.
It's as though nature is an active matchmaker.
Nicely done.
I wonder if the rising sap of spring produces a "sense of serenity"? I'm thinking more along the lines of a "sparkle of vitality". LOL
Best of luck in the contest, Bob. You made every word count.

A wonderful expression of love in the seasonal flow of time. The budding love and the budding trees both matured into the ripeness of the harvest, a bounty of both kinds expressed in a very romantic way.
