this is an exquisite piece of poetic art! the emotional turmoil leaps across the screen! if you fall, find the person to pick you up or then get on your knees and pray.

Hello there~!
That last question you posed is really thought-provoking.
This is a well-written piece. 'Karma returns' is a scary line itself! LOL!
Good Job!
JazakAllah Khair~!

What of this journey ,cast in the pits of anguish,
can we rise as the phoenix
Great concluding lines and they are my favorite .I hope we can rise up for a second chance.'your cold hand of fate wrenched out this heart'- a very effective poem of grief and failure and of wanting a second chance

Story of a dead crow on a battlefield?
I think its the picture that has me seeing it that way.
Maybe I am more of a visual thinker than I thought :P
Hmm .. even so ..
It reads like the plea of the guilty rather than the guiltless.
Our soul. Not my. In the context of the rest this reads like someone trying to absolve themselves by saying that it was we and not I that did it. Might just be my mood.
It's an interesting read.

I would like very much to think that we can rise as the phoenix, from this place called purgatory, and find spirituality is regained. A very dark poem.

This poor soul you write about is certainly not found their 'happy place'. Your words build an image of deep anguish with only the last ine giving the tiniest glimmer of a positive outcome. Good flow.

Well this is certainly a dark one. You may find that some people won't like it because it is not about flowers and puppies but that is life isn't it? You have written an intense, emotional poem that could shake some people up.

This is very powerful. Our souls are eternity bound weather heaven or hell. I feel the power of spiritual warfare. Great job.
