The author of this poem is quite a philosopher and deep thinker as well. "A sea of dreams as fog rolls in on the twilight of history and age." I love a piece like this that requires deep thought. Great work.

This generation is you're> did you mean to write yours here as you're would not be correct in this context
This poem has present day and the past within its poetically driven thoughts. I enjoyed reading and writing a response for this piece of poetic art... John

Awesome, awesome, awesome....
So many great lines all the way through...
A sea of dreams as fog lifts in...
Reflections in time....
Can we now withdraw leaving you to explore the foreign but new roads of life..
How will we stand lead us by the hand....
Love the last two lines....
Haven't heard from you in a while..
Glad you're back...
Bryan

Deepwater,
I really enjoyed reading and re-reading this passage, for there was much to contemplate. The line "the past we endured to bring you up to this day"...powerful nudge to us in a younger generation..do we appreciate that?Thank you for sharing,

A good reflective work. As the years draw on we wonder, think of the reaction of people, society. Has our past been worth it, what of the future? Dave.

Life as a voyage of continues exploration, every soul by her own, learning, acquiring experiences that make them grows with each passing season, learning the road to perfection.
Is always good to read writings that make you meditate, as this one.

I love everything about your poem-you write with emotion about how the world is today-you have a good flow with your poem and describe your emotions well-I also love the artwork it compliments your poem-I love where you write(What is to come with this passing of years, the distress of evolution of man?) your poem makes me think and you did a great job.

Ah, its good to see you back posting. Haven't seen you for a while.
Where have you been?
You pose some interesting questions in this reflective write:What is to come with this passing of years, the distress of evolution on man?
Who will surrender to desires from governing powers for our forgotten and aged.
Can we now withdraw leaving you to explore the foreign but new roads of life,
How will we stand, lead us by hand as the days grow dimmer and cold.

I liked the begnnning
[A sea of dreams as fog rolls in on the twilight of history and age,
Reflections in time, as we hold memories from travel our souls have engaged,] - the relation between time, age with sea of dreams.
[perhaps we may travel together for a time...]
meaning of this creature is so pure it reflects its conclusion

Your poem is a good road map for us. Life truly is a journey for each and every one of us, and we hopefully will learn from our experiences.
