Values of honor, scarred deep on my heart,--> i loved this!
this was a wonderful poem. not a line that i wouldn't like. it flew perfectly and the mesage, the wondering, was so well presented.

Hi again Deepwaer - Another good one from you - very well written contemplative verse. Unfortunately we cannot surmise, we can only hope whatever the future holds it will make up for all past disappointments. A good read. Regards Dorothy

Hello again, deepwater.
Whoa, two poems in one sitting. I must be living right.
Relationships are a tricky thing. Why some work and others don't is a mystery but I think it depends on the givers. Both have to be willing to give and not expect anything in return. That way the returns that do come along, and they will, seem that much more appreciated.
I enjoy reading your poetry. ;) Chrisfiore

I thought you did a solid job constructing this piece. You made use of a nice rhyme scheme that was aided by proxy rhymes and I enjoyed the questioning nature of the piece. Overall it was a good, ponderous write. Great work on this piece as well, thanks for sharing.

'Reflection on Life' is an extremely well-written and thought-provoking piece. Not for a moment would I attempt to answer this talented poet's rhetorical questions. It was a pleasure to review a poem of this standard.

When I first saw the illustration, I thought there will be something in this poem that will bring about a conflict.
Your words: mind games, trials, and truths among others rang clear of my perception.
Very well written.
I like the way you ended with a question.

I think this deserves a six, and I am sure you will get plenty. Unfortunately, I don't have one to give, and I really, rea;;y want to. This is how everyone feels at one time or another. There are times when a relationship is in doubt and there is the empty helpless feeling that we feel deep in our hearts. Wonderfu; emotion and strong theme. Wonderfully done.

Hello Deepwater,
Thought provoking nice piece of poetry beautifully depicting its theme!
Simple, impressive and perfectly matching the theme wording.
Smooth and enchanting flow throughout the poem.
Lovely rhyming scheme and lively imagery.
The most striking lines are:
"Now I contemplate on life's new surprise,
What is to happen, can you surmise?"
Marvelous!
