The picture provides such a clear view of the what the poem describes. Great choice. The poem describes the sport of olympic ski jumping and the people who do it, very accurately. Nice work.

Hullo Friend ....
As I have been watching the amazing achievements of those participating in the Winter Olympic Games, this short work of yours, with the syllable count all present and correct for the Rictametre format, provides readers with a fitting word-picture of these great athletes and sportsmen.
Thank you for sharing this with us and I wish you well in the Contest.
With love from .... Nanette Mary.

I love your imagery. Poets of gravity - what an awesome line. Watching the Winter Olympics is like watching poetry in motion. So elegant, just like your fine verse. Well done, regards RobertoK.

A good poem, not very deep, but very well written. The art supports the poem nicely, and it meets the proper meter for the competition so kudos on that. Best of luck.

Hello, your entry is good but I believe you made an error when you said--
They fly upside down and twirl six feet up
I believe the skier goes higher than 6 feet ( it was told on TV that they twirl about 35 feet or more up in the air.

Poets of gravity
This line is a stroke of poetic genius---poetic acrobatics! It elevates this rictameter (literally!) LOL
Fine form and well presented. Highly unique content and theme.
Polished. No nits.
Best wishes in contest.

They are truly amazing athletes, they are the cream of the crop. I personally would not be able to stand up after a flip like that.

I love your words and poem.. As I watch these skiers, I wonder to myself how what a rush that must be flying through the air.. This takes guts, practice and determination to get to the olympics..What a great feat.. You said it so well.. Love Lin

Hello author.
I read this twice to get a feel for it. I understood it clearly from the first. The words are very well chosen. Your work has had to fit into a form that may be clever, but isn't really given to poetry. That is not to say I wouldn't try it. It is to compliment you for working within the form.
