Well done. A much needed message. There is a troubling, and thout provoking enlightenment here.
With the way the world has become, I have to say that our knowledge may be lost--to answer your poetic question.
Good Job.

Knowledge that is not written is, undoubtedly lost over time; secrets even more so. Who's to say how much of the unwritten knowledge of the past and those secrets never passed on are the answers to some of today's questions. A very poignant question. Nicely done. Thank you for sharing. geo

I read a touch of mystery and blackness in these lines. How if someone is trying to hide something, afraid that with time all will be discovered. A cautious work.

I think we all carry and pass on those secrets whether we realize it or not, we are in many ways reflections of our parents and their beliefs and knowledge is imprinted from one generation to the next. Very nice!

To all unwritten things
that are passed by voice throughout the evolution of time
never to be written in books or carved on stone
will this generation pass the secrets of our forefathers foreword
to be carried over to their sons?
yes it will be carried over, one could only hope.. great job.

Good question, but I'd love to see some poetic rumination on the answer to that question. Which secrets? This is the beginning of a poem, it feels totally incomplete even the pharsing of the question suggests that there should be something else here, but for what's here there are no corrections necessary.

There's this tone about your poems that pulls my emotions. I think your words evokes thoughts which I would otherwise not think of. I really enjoyed this, thanks.

I love these lines. Now I think about this, there are so many things people have told me that I find important and interesting BUT have not told anyone else nor have I written them down. Will I have time to do so? This is the reason why I started writing.
will this generation pass the secrets of our forefathers foreword

Time to push on, to write and pass these unwritten words, secrets, knowledge down.

The tradition of passing on the knowledge to the next generation has been lost with time. The written word rules the world today.

Well, even when word by book are handed down through time, they are more often than not lost, many a fine book written have been destroyed by the good old Christains over the last thousand years during the Inquisition.
And many unwritten things are twisted to suit those in power, words are very powerful and dangerous, a great way to manipulate the Masses.
Well done my friend, a very thought provoking Read, Rudy.
