I loved your interpretation of the image supplied for this event, and particularly liked the words:
a kaleidoscope of color, embowing
sheaths of dazzling lights carries me to the midnight streams,
I find it powerful that the writer sees himself as one of the butterflies.

You draw the reader in to wonder or identify with "Buttered-Ale" I've been told & have the results of mentioning food or drink. Your metaphors and similes enhance the imagery. Well expressed.

Great entry for the Club event... Butterfly Dreams. I saw the same picture with another poem, now it makes sense :). The rhymes do not seem forced and your poem flows well. It draws upon emotions and it presents strong images.

This is a great poem, thank you for sharing! I love how the reader is led to believe this is a drunken, dreamy scene. The metamorphosis is very picturesque; what a beautiful description! The repeating lines at the end are a nice touch to demonstrate the butterfly's new, almost too-good-to-be-true reality.

I really enjoyed reading your poem. The artwork is perfect and creates a mood immediately. You did a great job with the prompt. I am unfamiliar with this style of poetry but I like how I felt when I finished .

Your artwork is stunning. I really like it. The poem was well written and carried a lot of meaning.
Oh, to dream such a dream of such utter freedom!
Oh, to dream such a dream of a butterfly kingdom ... [this is a wonderful couplet]

Kaleidoscope of Color" is a skillful poem in free verse that uses an a-b-a-b rhyme scheme to describe a metamorphosis from human into butterfly, and it envisages the delight of flying and living in the currents of sun-warmed atmospheres. A final couplet dreams of such an outcome being possible for a human within a "butterfly kingdom." In its design of four quatrains and a couplet, it is linked to the design of a sonnet, whose three stanza logic and couplet conclusion makes it so satisfying a form.

This is a beautiful poem describing what it might be like to become a lovely butterfly and able to freely fly where ever it wants to go. It works well with the contest Butterfly Dreams.
