Your poem has a nice flow and a clear theme. It was very nice to read. I like how you used near rhymes a couple of times. I really like near rhymes and think they're generally underused in poetry.

You must live outside the USA. Branny tickles? Speckle backs? I like the remembrances as if they were my own. What once we have we will never know once more, at least physically. Thank God for good memories for indeed therein we live those great times again, and again.

This was well written, it followed the prompt. And most people will relate to those days of yesteryear. Even though we live in different states or countries, we share many similar memories. Jump rope, hopscotch. Playing in mud, throwing rocks. Going fishing with our dad. Thank you for such a great story in a poem.
