It's been a busy spring here with so many things going on, I don't always get to FS everyday and was delighted when I realized this took 2nd place. Now I'm off to check out your 1st place poem. Your poetry is always a joy and inspiration to read. Thank you again dear one.

It felt like the mountains are such majestic landscapes and it was a good comparison about climbing and getting to the peak or places and how similar it is to real life for some situations to overcome. Thank you for sharing.

I felt myself climbing with you as I read stanza by stanza, and at the point of rocky paths I even felt my breath quicken as though laboring to continue on to peak. It is always quite an achievement to attain that goal. Thank you for bringing memories back to me.
