I have seen many animals do that behavior, They want to show dominance in the relationship. Your stories seem to like molasses to us. This is another great chapter. You moved your story along nicely. Cord and Ali are getting to know each other. The tension between Cord and his father add a new dimension to the story. The picture is rather yummy. LOL

This is a great story even if it does seem as if Alex hasn't yet considered not going back to New York. Samson is also a pushy dog. Only Cord seems to realize what the future should be. (Most romances the girl is the one to figure this out first, so this is a nice change of pace.)
