'do you see what I see', is an extremely well-written and delightfully descriptive piece. Penned with craft and skill. This talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review. Good luck with the contest. My fingers are crossed for you. I look forward to seeing your next post.

You did a good job. Telling us the nature growth in this world . Everything grows but they need tender care.
As we grow up we need to take care of ourselves...we need to improve our knowledge, maturity and energy power.

Thank you so much!

This is a great entry for the free verse poem, well written and gives us all something to think about. When you consider that the first corn plant that God created in the Garden of Eden, contained the potential for all future plants. Amazing how the kernels planted will produce corn and not some other vegetable. How can anyone doubt the existence of Almighty God, the creator of all?

This is a very thought-provoking poem! My parents always had a big garden, and us children helped look after it. It was always a wonder that planting those tiny seeds produced crops in a few months.
Love the poem, the subject matter, the form, the illustration. It's great!

Depends on the person's view for a moment but wow, this encapsulates a lot more than most people would try for, not that shouldn't. I do the same especially in an ambient free light sighting of the stars at night.

I love star gazing! The immensity of probability that we meet humans fall to realize all too often.

How true

The author's words are educating, descriptive, clear, have a message and are creative. Thank you for the author's notes - it supports this poem well. I liked that the author addresses the need to protect Mother Earth. The poem flows and connects well. The artwork is awesome!

Hey JLR! A lovely way to pay tribute to the creator! I had a greenhouse for a few years, and I was spellbound by the growth that I was blessed to see from hour to hour! I'd water in the cool of the morning and when I came back just a few hours after to mist in the middle of the afternoon, I was always amazed to see the new growth and/or the progress of the crop! Now if we could only come up with a way to make sure we clean up our food source - no more pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides and then clean up what is already in the soil. I bet our health would change drastically in less than a two generations. I wonder how low our cancer numbers would drop? Leukemia, Parkinsons, MS, so much room for improvement!!
Thanks for sharing!

Christine, I agree that more could be accomplished. Your comments remind that our indigenous peoples in the land new to blend fragrant herbs and such within the crops to prevent infestations. We have lost those natural remedies with corporate farming. Be blessed in all you do, thank you.

You are right. Everyday nature provides us with amazing
thoughts and scenes, However, many are too busy to
even stop for a few minutes to look and appreciate all
that's there for us. Your free verse read well. I like how
you take readers from the end result back to the start of
how it got there thanks to nature and God. I agree man
must change his ways of dealing with nature before it's
too late.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

Comment from Pam Lonsdale
What you've stated here is how all of nature works together, and if we take away or destroy one piece of the puzzle then it doesn't work.
You've done an amazing job of stating both the need to be good stewards and the gifts of God's work.

This is a wonderful Nature inspired poem, celebrating the wonders of Nature and it's gifts.
It awakens the consciousness of the balance between the Natural world. Your poem does make an observation at the end of reciprocal relationship between plants, trees and life-forms that is often taken for granted. A theme, would you consider, that is vital to understanding the importance of caring and offering our thanks and gifts in return?
I like the diagram to illustrate further your poems' meaning.
Your poem invokes an appreciation for Nature and reads like a celebration of the generosity of the earth, landscapes, biomes and ecosystems.
Lovely writing that raises questions, issuing subtle lessons and reminders of the regenerative qualities of Nature.
