This is wonderful. Beautiful flow and AABB rhyme. The comparison to the eagle is great. The eagle soars and has no fear as he hears the thunder. Your words are so comforting in this, as "God will never let you wander lost." God will be with you, so fears can be eased. judi

Fabulous first verse Roy.
(I know that description dates me but its what came to mind). I love the intertwining of the storms the birds flying into the storm as a metaphor for all who struggle to see the calm skies. Loved this one. Well done mate.

I've not reviewed your extensive portfolio but I think I also would enjoy reading a work by you where the topic is completely secular, perhaps even humorous. Do you have such works that you can point me to? If not, try it. I think you'd succeed with near any topic.
