Well thought out and visually pleasing. Nice touch with the "coins" and taking another "nip". Really enjoyed this one and definitely a great time for it. Thanks for sharing and good luck!

what a St Patrick's night. Must have been a real wild party. Perhaps someone = a leprechaun spiked the green beer with LSD or something along those lines? well done imagining the consequence....

That was an excellent read, a fun poem skilfully planned and constructed very thoughtfully. I enjoyed the light-hearted humour along with the mention of many things Irish. Best wishes for your entry.

Very fun poem! Good use of a consistent rhyme scheme and meter, gave it a rolicky sort of feel, like beer swishing in a glass, side-to-side. Also enjoyed the sensory details. Good luck in the contest!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

very good and in high spirits, well, for the most part, until truth be told. Wearing of the green shall soon be upon us, a nip I might take but I`ll keep it light so as not to bring a troubled sight. Good luck in the writing prompt.

This is a good entry into the Irish Themed contest. Your text is a great size for reading. Your message is stated with clarity and is easy to understand. Your rhyme scheme is good. Your spacing of text in the poem box and overall presentation are well-done. The visual fits perfectly. Good luck in the contest. You have a possible winner.

I'll say this for the Irish, once they get in your head, you cannot get rid of them, with their lilts and kilts, (I'm told they have them), grand olde poets and green beer.

Thank you, Tom. They may have kilts because the Scots next door have them. I appreciate the review.
