I still remember this dread when I was young and in school. My single mother was very good and hard working, and traveled on public transportation. We had to be in bed early to be up long before sunrise. Her bus left at 7am. My life as a mother was a dream compared to hers. Monday was always the hardest day though. Still is for some reason. Maybe it's cell memory. LOL!
Sending you my best today as always and best wishes for the book.

When I was working I used to detest Mondays and returning to work as I just loved my leisure time so much and now that I am retired I put far more pressure on myself to work at home than I did when I was working! Ha ha ha! I enjoyed the sentiment here, your clever rhymes and flow, a joy to read Debra, love Dolly x x x

Monday comes around very quickly. Also, the years pass by more quickly as we get older. I wish you the very best in all of your writing. Have a good day and God bless. Patricia.

I remember those times! I think I'd always get a little stressed Sunday night and couldn't sleep well anticipating all that awaited me on Monday mornings. Great meter and rhymes to describe the ever fleeting weekends and the always looming Mondays in your well written quatern poem!

Comment from Gloria ....
The artwork had laughing straight out and it is a perfect choice for a finely rhymed and metred quatern showing just how bad Monday is for rolling around so quickly all the time.
Another fine addition to your NaPo book.

Lovely, light relatable verse with that cascading line (I've learnt about). Perfectly metered, smooth rhythm and unforced rhyme, this message is really wishing Monday would simply go away for a bit longer. A lot of consensus there! At least you'll know it's inspired you to write an excellent poem. Have a good day tomorrow! Debbie

I don't think there's too many young'uns on fanstory at the moment, so I think they will be many that can relate to your fabulously written Quatern, you are to be commended for this, smooth, articulate and well written poem, well done Debra, blessings Roy

I absolutely loved this poem. Your story was funny, and I loved your rhymes. Time does seem to fly by when you don't want it to. Thank you so much for sharing, and best wishes to you.
